The pirates have spent the past year working for the Order of the Phoenix, a secret group created to counter Lord Voldemort and his followers. As the war reaches its peak, bereavement falls upon most of the wizarding world, be they pureblooded supremecists or Muggle supporters. Even the students of Hogwarts are in danger, as the Death Eaters attack at any opportunity. Christmas? Christmas was a bloodbath.
