general personality:
As the eldest brother, he tries his best to protect his other siblings and to act like a responsible young adult. He had given up his childhood when their father went to war. Him and Susan had helped their mother deal with family problems.
He was a completely different person before Narnia. He has his temper problems like everyone else and will often yell at them to listen to him. He got along well with his siblings except his younger brother Edmund. Try as he might, he could not re-place their father and Ed knew it. He was often hard on Ed than his other siblings. The two would always get into arguements and on each other's nerves. He is often stubborn as well and courageous.
There is his other side, that most enemies will draw out in a minute. He can't stand seeing his siblings, or those close to him, hurt. If they are, then watch out. Peter is very good at plotting revenge. He also makes promises that he can keep, sometimes that is. But other than that, Peter is an easy-going type of man. He also loves it when he argues with Susan, whether it will be on the matter of Cair Paravel or other issues.
THE HISTORICAL
parents: Helen and George Pevenise
siblings: Susan, Edmund, Lucy,
Cousin Eustace
history:
Peter George Pevensie was born on March 2nd, 1927 to parents George and Helen Pevensie. He was the eldest out of the four siblings and enjoyed a care free life. He enjoyed playing with his father and mother. A year after, his sister, Susan, was born in 1928. Both of them are a year apart and thus are close. He was two years old and Susan was one when their brother, Edmund, was born in 1930. The youngest of the Pevensies, Lucy, was born. He enjoyed being the oldest and spending time with his siblings. Everything was going fine and he was happy with his life until the second world war started. Then everything changed in a flash. Their father had enlisted in the British army and went to fight in the war. Then the air-raid had started and they were sent to the country to escape the war.
During a game of hide and seek, Lucy had discovered the wardrobe and Narnia. Of course Peter didn't believe that. And of course Edmund had said something smart as usual and Peter had said something back. He was awaken in the middle of the night by Lucy, who claimed that she had seen Edmund there. When Peter asked him, he replied that he hadn't been there. A few days after, the four was outside. Lucy was reading while him, Susan, and Edmund were playing cricket. He had thrown the ball at Edmund, who threw it into a window, breaking it. The four had made a run for it. Lucy had lead them into the wardrobe and they followed. It wasn't until then that they had believed her story about Narnia. Edmund had slipped that he had, in fact, been to Narnia.
While on the run, they come across Mr. and Mrs. Beaver, who had helped them escaped from the wolves. It was there that he, like the others, had found out about the prophecy concerning him and his siblings. Needless to say he was a bit surprised as well as in a state of disbelief. "We just wanted our brother back," he had stated. It was then that Edmund had disappeared, running off to the white witch to tell her. They were running away from what appeared to be the witch's sled, but it wasn't. Father Christmas had given him a shield and a sword.
It wasn't until they were at Aslan's camp that he had used his sword for the first time. The chief wolf was trying to kill his sisters, who had climbed their way up the tree. He had slain the wolf after he had taunted him about not having what it takes to use the sword. It was there that Aslan had dubbed him, 'Sir Peter Wolfsbane,'. Aslan had also told him to always remember to clean his sword. He defended his brother from the witch when she had came to the camp, seeking a meeting with Aslan. His brother was saved, but little did he know that it would be the great lion himself who would die instead of him. He was left to lead the army against the witch. The four defeated the witch and they were crowned at Cair Paravel. He was crowned High King Peter, the Magnificent. He ruled Narnia with his siblings until they returned to their youth in London.
He had an easy time when he went back to school. He tried to hide the fact that he sometimes thought he was back ruling in Narnia. Peter would sometimes get into fights with the other school boys because of this. He was use to everyone following his orders and doing what he asks of them. One day, while they are waiting for a train at the station, Peter ended up getting into a fight with a few other school boys. Ed had a difficult time pulling him away from the fight. He explodes and lets out his feelings, saying he is tired of being treated like a kid and wanted to be treated like he was before. They were summoned by Susan's horn and returned to Narnia to help Prince Caspian defeat his evil uncle Miraz.
THE ROLEPLAYING
canon or original character: canon
why do you want to play this character: Pete's awsome and I have played him before. I'm rather good actually
roleplay sample:
Me as Peter on Spare Oom
Peter had came back from staring at the ruins of the professor's house. Where everything once began, he thought. He ran a hand through his hair. He had a shouting match with his mother about getting it cut. He had told her that he wanted it to be like this. When asked why, Peter can't find a response that they would approved. Of course he wanted to say, "Why when we were in Narnia I always wore my hair like this. Not one of the people was bothered by it." that would earn himself a switching and a lecture from both their parents. He knew what letcure they have had in mind.
About whats considered real to them and whats not. Peter have had enough of this with Susan already. She was starting to become an annoyance to him. Aslan's words kept on drifting into his mind,"Once a king or queen of Narnia, is always a king or queen of Narnia," Peter remembered how it felt when he sat on the throne as the first time as the high king. He felt safer in Narnia than here in England.
He walked past Susan's room and froze, staring at the door. He had been avoiding her ever since their big argument last week when they arrived home from church. His eyes started to burn with tears as he walked towards it. What happened to them? he wandered as he slowly opened it. We were close even before Narnia. And now we're drifting. It was harder on him than on Ed and Lu. He didn't even reply to her question.
"Su?" Peter said with a sigh as he walked in. He closed the door with a quite snap. The once high king looked down at his sister. "Oh Susan, look at what you've become," Peter said as he made his way over to her and wrapped his arms around his older sister, who was starting to become a pain in his side. He buried his face in her shoulder. "You have got to stop this foolishness" he said sternly as he lifted his head from it. He looked her in the eye, not most would do that unless they wanted a small blow to the head.
But Peter could get away with anything. They were, after all, siblings, and nothing could change that. "I know it hurts when Aslan said we couldn't come back to Narnia, Susu. But that doesn't mean you can deny Narnia's not real," he smoothed her hair. His eyes glistened with tears that threatened to spill.
