THE BASICS name: Edmund Pevensie nicknames: Ed age: 16 birthdate: November 28 rank: King occupation: King of Narnia

Unlike his siblings, Edmund detests wearing jewelery with a passion. The only kind of jewelery he ever wears is a ring and a necklace that was given to him by his royal siblings and his silver crown. He feels that unecessary accesories hinder his range and freedom of movement. For the same reasons, Edmund avoids wearing his courtly clothing whenever he can. He has little tolerance for them but when he does dress for court or diplomatic missions, Edmund usually wears different shades of blue and grey. His tunic, of course, is made from Narnian silk and on ocassion, Calormen silk, and is usually collared. Soft leather boots are the only way to go. Nothing else would do. They vary from shades of brown to black.
When Edmund isn't forcing himself to dress like a King of Narnia, he wears loose shirts and pants. They are usually dull in colour though their quality is no less than that of his courtly clothes, something that Susan had insisted on. They don't last very long either, what from Edmund's constant riding, sword fighting and exploring.
The only thing shiny and bright that Edmund would ever wear willingly is his armour. His armour is a similar style to that of Peter's. One of the main differences is that Edmund doesn't usually dress in full armour since Peter doesn't often allow him to be at the front of the battle.
racial features: N/A anything else: Edmund has long fingers and is really pale. playby: Skandar Keynes
THE MENTAL likes: dislikes: strengths: weaknesses: goals: fears: general personality:
At sixteen, King Edmund the Just was what one could call a typical teenager. Battle scarred and ingrained with diplomacy, yes, but he was also full of humor and boyish desires. His was a quiet spirit, and he often went off to be alone and “just think.” His unexpected and uncontrolled laughter was a delight to his siblings.
Edmund loved to hold mock sword fights, and to swim, and to explore, and most of all to ride Philip the Talking Horse, his Narnian best friend. He preferred rough-spun tunics and breeches to his court attire, and comfortably worn riding boots. He hated his sisters' attempts at making him more "civilized and presentable". He would often go off for a jaunt and be back when he felt the danger of being dandified was past. Edmund would come back happy and rumpled with a tale to share with his siblings.
Despite his dislike of courtly clothing, Edmund would quietly slip into his crown and royal robes, and journey to Calormene on a diplomatic mission if needed. For although he delighted in thwarting Susan’s plans to dress him up, he knew the value of a powerful image when dealing with a tentative enemy. The sweep of his cloak over his straight back was as effective as the stern manner in which he spoke. King Edmund of the burning dark eyes commanded a certain amount of respect whether in court clothes or glittering armor.
Edmund is kind and friendly too all and reserves judgment until he knows the person better to avoid prejudging someone. Edmund often wears a mask of thoughtfulness and calmness in public though his mischievous side is never far away and is always ready to reveal itself once he is no longer in the public's eyes. Edmund is slow to anger but has a scary temper. His temper is not an outburst but rather a calm sort of controlled anger that is ready to lash out at any given moment. The one thing that angers Edmund the most is unfairness.
He would always stick up for those too weak to defend themselves but does not consider himself noble. That adjective was reserved for Peter. Edmund is often sarcastic. Especially so when he was angry. He is loyal to those he cares about and would do anything for them, regardless of the consequences.
In short, Edmund can be described by three S's. Snarky, sarcastic and sweet though no one would be caught dead saying that in his face.
THE HISTORICAL parents: Helen siblings: Peter, Susan, Lucy history: Edmund Pevensie was born in London, England, to a woman named Helen, two years after his older sister and three after his older brother. He was the third child born into the family of four children. Like most siblings, there were days when they fought and days when they got along. As a young child, Edmund was quite close to his siblings. Especially with Peter. Growing up, Edmund saw Peter as his hero and idolized the older boy unil he began boarding school where he was bullied constantly and without his older brother's protection, began to resent the older boy.
Edmund's unhappiness did not stop at just being angry at Peter though, he began to bully Lucy and wave off, rather rudely, Susan's attmepts at mothering him. Any bond he had with his siblings unraveled quickly and by the time the war was in full scale, Edmund resented his siblings more than ever, because they were close, because Peter protected the girls and not him, because he was always the scond best and never the best and because no matter hat he did, he could never be nearly as good as Peter. At this point, Edmund felt suffocated and trapped in his older brother's shadow.
The four children were sent to the country side to live with Professor Kirke when the bombings in London became more and more severe. Edmund did not like this change at all and expressed his disagreement in more fights with his siblings and many times with his mother. Despite hi best efforts, he ended up in the old mansion anyways. He wouldn't have minded staying in the mansion very much except, of course, Peter ad to boss him around and always tell him what to do. Lucy finding a wood in the wardrobe and Peter not believing her was one thing, but to yell at him when he made a joke finally snapped Edmund. He had, at that moment, made a vow to get back at his siblings.
So when he found Lucy gong into the wardrobe again that night, Edmund followed, only to find that the wood in the back was very much real. Unfortunately, instead of running into some kind creature like Lucy had, Edmund was found by the White Witch herself. She used his insecurities and anger towards his siblings to manipulate him and do her bidding. After enchanting him with turkish delight, the Witch left Edmund, leaving him to be found by Lucy, who quickly dragged him to their older siblings. Remembering that Peter and Susan had not believed Lucy the first, Edmund lied and made Lucy cry for putting him in such a difficult position.
The next day, the three older children played cricket wile Lucy watched. Edmund was still thinking about the turkish delight and how angry he was at his siblings that when he finally managed to hit that ball, it sailed right through one of the stained glass windows of the mansion. Not wanting o be caught by the housekeeper, the four children ran and hid in the wardrobe, only to find themselves in Narnia. Here, their adventure began.
Not forgetting the White Witch's promise, Edmund slipped away from his siblings as soon as he thought their attention was diverted enough by the Talking Beaver who had invited them to his dam. But upon meeting the Witch, Edmund found, much to his dismay, that she was not going to keep her promise. So instead of being made prince, Edmund became a prisoner. Many things happened while he sat locked up in jadis' dungeons and by the time she dragged him onto her sleigh, Edmund was ready to fight back and protect his siblings, even if it meant death for him.
He was eventually saved by by Aslan's Army and reunited with his siblings, their bonds once once more restored. Aslan sacrificed himself in place of Edmund so when the big battle came, Edmund was ready to right what he had wronged. In a moment of desperation when he saw the Witch making her way towards peter, Edmund ran down and broke her wand, only to be stabbed by its broken end moments later. This injury would've killed him had Lucy not shown up in time to heal him with her cordial. Another disaster avoided and the Hundred Year Winter ended, the four children were crowned Kings and Queens of Narnia at Cair Paravel. The next fifteen years of their reign was a peaceful time, called the Golden Age by many. Their reign was cut short though when they unexpectedly ended up back in the spare room in the Professor's house.
The children's adventures did not end here however. One year later, when the four were at the train station, they were brought back to their beloved land, only to find that 1300 years had passed since their reign. So with Trumpkin the dwarf, the four monarchs traveled to Aslan's How to meet up with Prince Caspian. At first, Caspian and Peter did not get along at all. Both had too much pride to admit that they did anything wrong but Edmund remained silent and followed his brother's lead. They would come around...eventually. Also during this time, Edmund noticed something between Susan and Caspian, but since he was only the younger brother and it really wasn't any of his business, Edmund remained silent on this subject too. The only thing he vocalized was his support towards Lucy.
Eventually, after many adventures (and some misadventures), the Pevensies managed to restore the throne to its rightful king, King Caspian the Tenth. Along side his brother and sister and Caspian, Edmund ruled Narnia with as much love and passion as he had 1300 years ago.
Three years after Caspian's coronation, he, Edmund, Reepicheep and Lucy went on a voyage to the East to find Aslan's Country and the Seven Lords sent away by Miraz. The voyage started out normal enough, until they found Eustace, the Pevensie's younger cousin that is. With him on board, many things changed. They went on many adventures as they traveled East, including Eustace turning into a dragon and back to human, water that turned things gold, monopods, a sea serpent and an island that turned your nightmares into reality. At the end of the journey East, one of the crew sailed into the sea of white, successfully allowing the Dawn Treader to bring back to Narnia the lords who were not dead yet.
