THE ROLEPLAYING canon or original character: original why do you want to play this character: she's bad ass and is pretty much darius' soul mate. take this quiz: www.ponylandpress.com/ms-test.html what was your character's score?: 0 roleplay sample: The hiss that escaped Masaru's lips actually kind of surprised him. He'd been expecting things to be painful now, since he knew well the kinds of sounds wounded men made throughout their healing process, but it was somehow still surprising that it had hurt and he was almost a little bit embarrassed and could feel himself blushing a little, just a little. It wasn't like Charlie knew he was a medic. It wasn't like Charlie knew he knew what it felt like when someone got hurt. It wasn't like Charlie knew he had heard men crying and moaning on their death beds.
"Hai, hai. Douzo," Masaru insisted again, nodding to Charlie, no matter how much he was dreading the inevitable sting of soap on his raw wounds. His leg was such a mess. He could see from here that it was a mess and it was all throbby and actually felt pretty disgusting. He'd never really been seriously injured so he'd never understood the disgusted look on the faces of his patients, but he did now. That was just... no. At least he knew he'd live through it provided he didn't die from some infection he picked up from dragging himself through rotting guts.
Despite the quiet, whispering whispers in the back of his mind, Masaru couldn't help but smile. Hell, he'd made it this far. What did it matter? He'd made it farther than many of his fellow soldiers and he still had all of his limbs attached, at least for the moment. He should be proud of himself even if all he did was drag himself through the dirt and not get shot in the head.
"Broom-san no te wa ooki desu" he remarked absently, mostly to himself, voice soft and calm, not even seeming to notice how strange that may seem if Charlie understood him at all. 'You have big hands,' he had said, and it was true. Charlie's hands looked big and callused. They were probably very warm, too. Good for warming up his wife's hands on a cold night. Masaru wondered if Charlie even had a wife, not that it was any of his business if he had a wife or not. It would be a waste of big, warm hands if he didn't, though.
