LUCY PEVENSIE.
I have a dream, a fantasy, to help me through reality.
And my destination, makes it worth the while,
pushing through the darkness, still another mile.
I believe in angels, something good in every I see.
Across the the stream, I have a dream.

THE BASICS
name: Lucy Pevensie.
nicknames: Lu, Little One
age: fourteen.
birthdate: May 21st, 1932.
rank: Queen.
occupation: Queen of Narnia.
THE PHYSICAL
body type: Lucy is just now reaching adolescence, which means she's finally beginning to grow. At this current moment, she's still short and very thin, and she's beginning to think she's going to be stuck as small forever, but at this current moment, it's impossible to tell.
hair: Her hairstyle hasn't changed much since she was younger. It remained the same auburn color, and is usually left down and braided around the top. Admittedly, it's a bit longer and progressively more wavy.
eyes: Lucy has big brown eyes, which always seem to grow wide with curiousity. They happen to draw in the attention of the people around her like a magnet.
height: 5'0
weight: 100.
facial features: Her cheeks have a natural pink tinge, and her face is so far unblemished. Light freckles trace the length of her face, and whenever she smiles 'simply adorable' dimples make themselves visable..
clothing: Being a female, and being the queen, Lucy has access to many magnificent dresses, and admittedly she enjoys them. But she really would't mind wearing some old ones, or even some simple riding clothes though, she's very easy to please in this department.
racial features: Lucy is very much a human, with arms and legs, two eyes, one head, two ears on each side, and a nose and mouth.
anything else: Even now at age fourteen, Lucy has incredibly small hands and long, thin fingers. This has come in handy for certain tasks that require close and precise work, like putting fine detail on an object. Admittedly, Queen Lucy has excellent craftsmanship, even though the task usually becomes tedious after awhile..
playby: Georgie Henley.

general personality:
Lucy has always been the youngest, and most childish of the Pevensies. She has always been thought to have a overractive imagination, and seems to know things that seem like a tale at the time. But the things she's seen, such as Narnia and Aslan, are very much real, as her siblings now know.
She hates being scolded for making things up, for she always tells the truth. It is nearly impossible for the girl to lie to people. She always feels bad about it afterwards, and doesn't really see a reason to lie.
Lucy despises tedious work, and would much rather do something fun instead of doing her 'royal duties'. But she's also sick of being looked down on as stupid, or not taken seriously because of her childish qualities. Currently, she's making more of an attempt to be more like her sister, Susan. Everyone takes her seriously.

THE HISTORICAL
parents: just their names, optional.
siblings: Edmund Pevensie, sixteen.
Susan Pevensie, eighteen.
Peter Pevensie, nineteen.
history:
In 1939, there was a terrible war raging in the Pevensie's midst. The children's father was off fighting in it, leaving only their mother to watch after the four of them. During a bombing, their house was destroyed, but all of them made it out alive by hiding in an old storm shelter. It was announced then after that children would be transported to other's homes, and orphanages outside the country, so they could grow up and be safe. Lucy, being only seven years old at the time, longed to stay with her mother, but didn't make a fuss as she knew this was going to be hard enough on all of them without having to deal with a whining child.
The lived in the house of an old professor, who from what they had heard was a very busy man who did not like to be disturbed. That's what the Mcready said anyway. The four children did their best to entertain themselves, but after a mere few days, the house was boring as ever, especially in when it begun to rain and they could not go outside. A simple game of hide-and-seek had lead to the discovery of a fantastical new world. Lucy had found the snowy land through the back of an old wardrobe in the spare room. She met her first narnian, Mr. Tumnus, a faun. He invited her back to his cave for tea. There, he intended to kidnap her, under the evil White Witch's orders, but he couldn't, and would pay dearly for defying her. Even knowing this, he led Lucy back from where she came. Of course, none of her siblings had believed she had been gone for hours, as she now knows time moves much differently in Narnia and Earth.
In the middle of the night, when she couldn't sleep, she decided to go visit the faun again, and she had discovered her newly found friend was alright. Her brother, Edmund, had followed her and met a very different sort of Narnian, the woman responsible for making it always winter and never Christmas. But back at the mansion, he denied ever being there and Lucy was scolded for her overractive imagination once again. But she was telling the truth.
With all four humans in Narnia at last, the prophecy was to be fufilled, and the land would be saved. But not if the white witch had anything to do with it. In exchange for Edmund (the bloody traitor he was) Aslan the great lion laid down his life for him. Susan and Lucy had wept over his large furry body, and he rose again, breaking the stone table so that no one need be sacrificed any longer. Through a long and large battle, they had managed to defeat the White Witch, bringing peace and prosperity to Narnia once again.

The Pevensies returned to Narnia after about a year of earth time. There, they were to first find their way, to help this person who was to be the new king, Caspian. Along their journey, Lucy had seen Aslan, but again, no one believed her. Defeating Miraz, Caspian was crowned king. They were about to return, but by Aslan's will, the four royals remained in Narnia.

Two years ago, Lucy and Edmund, along with their estranged cousin Eustace, set aboard the Dawn Treader, for another exciting adventure with Caspian X. **Is rereading the book
THE ROLEPLAYING
canon or original character: canon
why do you want to play this character: because Lucy is amazing, and Georgie Henley is awwdorable
roleplay sample:
It wasn't like Jake was just going to forget five years of classes over one summer. Sure, a few things were a bit fuzzy, but that wasn't anything a quick refresher course couldn't solve. Or maybe a review packet. Despite the fact that they had all just completed their OWLS and moved on to the harder levels of their classes, that didn't mean the professors needed to assign so much homework. Why in the first two weeks alone, Jacob had almost managed to fall behind on his studies, which wasn't like him at all. He was responsible and always got things done and turned in on time. It was a fact that often gotten him teased by his younger brother. They had never gotten along well, perhaps it was because their personalities were too different. They clashed, in a way. However recently, the steady flow of homework had stopped and he'd managed to pull himself out of the sea of parchment he was drowning in. All he had left to complete was the recently assigned charms paper on his particular patronus, since all were unique and represented something about each person. Jacob's patronus was a lynx, which confused him quite a lot. After all, the lynx was a guardian, a keeper of secrets. The only thing that might have made sense was the aspect of the creature, that not matter how small or insignificant one may seem, they have the possibility to uncover great things about the world, and accomplish great things. Now while he wasn't sure this applied directly to himself, it was something he strongly believed to be true. He also did know many things that he simply preferred not to share with others, but that was normal. He sighed. Perhaps his patronus did fit him after all...but it was a strange and oddly personal topic to convey through an essay. Hopefully it wasn't one of those 'share with the class' sort of projects. He wasn't thrilled with that whole public speaking bit. Well, when it wasn't something he wished to share.
He saw a very wet pair of young boys come from the direction of the lake. Meaning, they had just went for a swim. Jacob never really felt comfortable swimming in the black lake, and had always declined when the offer was given to him. It wasn't only that, it was very much against the rules, but it made him feel uneasy. It wasn't even that he couldn't swim anymore, but he couldn't shake the feeling of the large tentacle of the giant squid rising above the water and wrapping around his leg and pulling him to the depths. Even if he would have managed to escape, which was...let's face it, unlikely at best, there were the merpeople down there. But none of that would matter, because the fact that he couldn't hold his breath for much longer than forty seconds would kill him much longer before them, and odds are he'd be freaking out too much to think to grab his wand and do something that could save him. No, Jake just preferred to stay away from it all together. He was out on the grounds today. Why not, it was nice enough?
But for some reason, he was closer than usual today...not close enough for anyone to come by and push him in, by any means. Jake could see the good area around this part of the lake though, and he noticed a girl creating a perch in a tree. It was precariously close to the lake and looked rather unstable. When she sat up, he saw the back of her head and the dark curls cascading part way down her back. Okay, so they weren't really curls anymore, and to be so certain of a person's identity just based on the back of their head sounds utterly ridiculous... but there was no doubt his his mind that it belonged to his childhood friend, Lucy Weasley. Now, while he couldn't really make out just quite she was doing, his stomach suddenly lurched. Always reckless, that Lucy. Not thinking. Wait? Was it really his place to think that about her? Really, it was true, but they hadn't spoken in years. About five, if you wanted specifics. And yet he knew so much about her. He wouldn't admit it out loud, but he watched her sometimes, just to see her smile, to see her frustrated. It made him look like kind of a stalker...but he missed her. He missed the long summer afternoons they stole together, and he missed the way she laughed at him when he got ice cream on his nose. When they had both gotten separated into different houses, he'd been so disappointed. And like that, they started talking to each other less and less, and every time it was so awkward and strained. Then at one point, the conversations stopped altogether, just like that. How he had wished that she had been sorted into Hufflepuff. But she was a Weasley, and like most of her family, could not fight the call of the lions.
Jacob was taking the moment to himself, to reminisce, and wasn't quite paying attention. The thing that pulled him back to reality was someone crying out, and then a splash. Lucy. Lucy had fallen into the lake. Without any conscious decision on his part, he ran the distance between the rest of the grounds and the lake. With only one moments hesitation, he stole a glance at the dark surface, and then dove in before he could process what he was really doing. The water stung at his eyes, but he had to look. He saw Lucy's body being pulled under, as if by some unseen current. She was falling into deeper water. He swam to her, taking hold of her, whether it was her waist or her shoulders, he couldn't remember, but she was on his back. He had saved her, Jacob Finch-Fletchley had actually saved someone. After emerging from the lake, he set Lucy down in the grass just off of the lake's shore, falling to the earth beside her to catch his breath. It wasn't like she was totally unconscious or anything, she was breathing and suddenly Jake had a whole new worry on his mind.
